About the educator

My name is Rhae*, my pronouns are they/he** and I live in Margate.

I am an educator with fifteen years’ experience teaching young people aged from 5 to 13.

I hold qualified teacher status, a foundation certificate in psychodynamic counselling and an accreditation in relationships and sex education.

I am DBS checked (enhanced disclosure).

I have lived experience of autism, gender diversity and disability.

*pronounced ‘ray’ as in “ray of sunshine”

**they/them is my correct pronoun (as in, “I saw Rhae earlier, they were walking by the sea.”) but he/him is also an acceptable way to refer to me (as in, “I saw Rhae earlier, he was walking by the sea.”)
